2013-14: Played his first professional season with Boston's AHL affiliate in Providence with 9-13=22 totals and 50 PIM in 58 games ... Played his first professional game on Oct. 4 at St. John's, recorded his first professional point with an assist Oct. 19 at Manchester and scored his first pro goal Nov. 24 vs. Springfield ... Had three multiple-point games with his season-high a 2-1=3 night Jan. 5 vs. Worcester.

JUNIORS: Played four seasons in the Ontario Hockey League with Saginaw and Barrie with 66-56=122 totals and 454 PIM in 245 regular season games and 12-12=24 totals and 94 PIM in 11 playoff contests ... Played his first two-plus seasons in Saginaw before being traded to Barrie midway through the 2011-12 campaign ... His career season-high 36-24=60 totals in 50 games in his final junior season of 2012-13 nearly doubled his best point total of any previous single season and the goal total bested his previous three seasons combined ... Was named a Third-Team OHL All-Star in 2012-13 ... Finished second in the 2012-13 OHL Coaches Poll voting as Most Improved Player and third as Best Body Checker.

INTERNATIONAL: Represented Canada at the 2013 World Junior Championship (0-2=2 totals and 31 PIM in six games) where his bronze medal-winning teammates included fellow Bruins Dougie Hamilton and Malcolm Subban.
