CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

2013-14: Began the season in Providence/AHL where he had 2-3=5 totals with 39 PIM in 19 games ... Recalled on three occasions to Boston, from Nov. 20-28 (0-0=0 totals in three games, did not dress for one game); Dec. 2-18 (1-1=2 totals in six games, did not dress for one game); and Dec. 30-remainder of season (0-4=4 totals in 38 games) ... Had points in consecutive games once with single assists each on Mar. 4 and Mar. 6 ... Played his first NHL game on Nov. 21 vs. St. Louis, scored his first NHL point with the game-winning goal Dec. 8 at Toronto Maple Leafs and recorded his first NHL assist Dec. 12 at Edmonton ... Missed two games with an injury and did not dress (coach's decision) for five games ... Played his first NHL playoff game Apr. 20 vs. Detroit and recorded his first NHL playoff point with an assist on Apr. 22 at Detroit.

2011-12: Played his first full professional season in Providence/AHL where he had 3-21=24 totals in 65 games ... Ranked third on the team with 98 penalty minutes and finished second among club defensemen in scoring ... Had four multiple-point games and his shorthanded goal on Mar. 6 vs. Worcester was one of five team shorthanders during the season.

2010-11: Signed an amateur try-out agreement with Providence on Mar. 18 at the end of his college career and played six scoreless AHL Bruins games ... Played his first professional game on Mar. 25 at Worcester.

COLLEGE: Played four seasons of college hockey at the University of Vermont with 5-25=30 totals and 97 PIM in 144 career college games ... Served as co-captain in 2009-10 and captain in 2010-11 ... Was the team's rookie of the year in 2007-08 when he was the lone freshman to appear in all 39 games for the Catamounts.

TRANSACTIONS: Signed by Boston as a free agent, Oct. 21, 2011.
