Played his first professional game that evening vs. Manchester and recorded his first pro goals and points with a 2-2=4 effort in that contest ... Signed his entry level contract with Boston on Mar. 25 ... College: Played four seasons of college hockey at Northern Michigan University with 53-63=116 totals and 60 penalty minutes in 157 career college games ... Named a CCHA Second Team All-Star in 2011-12 when he led the team in goals and was second in his club’s scoring race with 19-17=36 totals and finished as a finalist as the CCHA’s best defensive forward ... Was named the Wildcats’ most valuable player, best forward, defensive player of the year and community service award winner in both his junior and senior seasons ... Captained the squad in his senior year. Played two years in the U.S. National Team Development Program in 2006-7 and 2007-08 prior to entering Northern Michigan.
