CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

2014-15: Played the season in Providence/AHL where he finished second among team defensemen in scoring with 4-18=22 totals in 54 games ... Finished second overall on the club in penalty minutes with 85 ... Played his 100th AHL game on Oct. 19 vs. Portland.

2013-14: Played his first full AHL season with 3-4=7 totals and 54 PIM in 55 Providence games ... Three of his seven points came in a four-game span Nov. 10-23 (2-1=3 totals).

2012-13: Split his first full professional season between South Carolina/ECHL and Providence/AHL ... Began the season in South Carolina and led the Stingrays in scoring with 6-11=17 totals in 22 games at the time of his Nov. 28 recall to Providence ... Added two assists in two additional ECHL games during a Feb. 13-16 stint ... Had 1-10=11 totals in 42 Providence games during his two AHL stays and added three assists in 12 AHL Bruins playoff games.

2011-12: Signed an entry level contract with Boston on Apr. 10 at the conclusion of his college career and played two scoreless games with their AHL affiliate in Providence, including his first professional game on Apr. 13 vs. Bridgeport.

COLLEGE: Played four seasons of college hockey at Boston College with 17-43=60 totals and 171 penalty minutes in 134 career college games ... Won NCAA championships with the Eagles in both 2010 and 2012 and captained the 2012 squad ... Also won three straight Beanpot championships and Hockey East titles in 2010, 2011 and 2012 ... Was named the Male Eagle of the Year in 2012, given annually to that person who has proven to be an "outstanding citizen, leader, scholar and athlete".
