Began the season with Colorado’s AHL affiliate in Lake Erie with one goal in 14 games ... Recalled once to Colorado, from Nov. 6-13, playing three scoreless games with four PIM ... Played his first NHL game Nov. 6 vs. Dallas ... Traded to Boston on Nov. 29 for Matt Hunwick and was assigned to Providence/ AHL where he remained for the rest of the season ... Had 1-11=12 totals with 46 PIM in 46 AHL Bruins games ... Was recalled to Boston for the playoff run, but did not play a post-season game ... College: Played three seasons of college hockey at Boston University with 25-53=78 totals in 118 career college games ... Won an NCAA championship with the Terriers in 2009 and was named to the All-Tournament Team and voted the tourney’s Most Valuable Player as he scored the overtime goal that gave the Terriers the title ... Was named to the NCAA East First All-American Team and the Hockey East First All-Star Team in his final season of 2009-10 as he led team defensemen in scoring with 30 points in 36 games ...
