CAREER: Returned to North America this season after spending the last four seasons in Russia and Finland...His NHL rights have been held by Florida, Columbus and Toronto since he returned to Europe following his last NHL season in 2001-02...2001-02: Began the season in Anaheim, playing in nine scoreless games with six PIM before he was assigned to Cincinnati on Oct. 22...Had 2-3=5 totals in three AHL games before his Nov. 1 trade to Nashville...Was assigned to Milwaukee/AHL following the trade and played four scoreless games before his Nov. 16 recall to Nashville...had three multiple-point games, including his first NHL hat trick Dec. 15 vs. Chicago which was a career-high for goals and points in a game...Had two two-assist efforts as well...Had a four-game point streak from Dec. 29-Jan. 3 (1-4=5 totals)...Had a three-game point streak from Dec. 15-23 (4-2=6 totals)...2000-01: Played his first North American season split between Anaheim and their AHL affiliate in Cincinnati...Had 5-9=14 totals in 46 games in Anaheim with four of his five goals coming in the third period or overtime...Played his first NHL game Nov. 30 at San Jose and scored his first NHL points in a 1-1=2 effort Dec. 15 vs. NY Rangers...Added 9-9=18 totals in 25 games in Cincinnati and was named to play in the AHL All-Star Game...Europe: Played four seasons in the Czech League with his hometown Kladno team from 1995-99 with 35-37=72 totals and 66 PIM in 165 games and was drafted by Anaheim in June, 1999...Played the 1999-2000 season in Finland with HPK Hameenlinna and Ilves Tampere, ranking third in the league in goals and leading the team in points with 35-14=49 totals and 75 PIM in 54 games before coming to North America for the next two seasons...Returned to Europe following the 2001-02 season and has played the last four seasons with Karpat in Finland with a 19-game stint in Russia at the start of the 2003-04 season...Had 71-75=146 totals with 158 penalty minutes in 175 Karpat games...Twice had 20+ goals in that span, with 21 in 2002-03 and 22 in 2003-04...Led the Finnish League in playoff goals in 2004-05 with seven.
