These Frequently Asked Questions constitute the terms and conditions for the treatment of funds in your Season Ticket Holder account during any work stoppage that results in the cancellation of any Boston Bruins home games during the 2012-13 NHL season.

The following two (2) options are available for your season ticket investment and must be selected by September 28.
    Option #1 - Loyalty Program
  • Earn 3% APR credit on the ticket money from games missed
  • Commit to renew season tickets for the 2013-14 season
  • Freeze on season ticket price for the 2013-14 season

    Option #2 - Monthly Refund
  • Earn 1% APR credit on the ticket money from games missed
  • Receive monthly refunds on ticket money from games missed
How do I select an option?
Log in to Account Manager with your pin number or email address and password and follow the steps below:
  • Click on 'Buy Tickets/Packages'.
  • Locate 'Work Stoppage Options' and click on 'View Items' on the right.
  • Locate the option you wish to choose and select '1' from the drop-down menu under the 'Quantity' column. The number one only indicates your selected option and does not reflect the number of tickets on your account. Only one option can be selected. Click 'Add to Cart'.
  • On the 'Shopping Cart' page, select the 'Via Account' option as the delivery method. Click 'Checkout'.
  • A window will pop up to agree to the terms and conditions and to sign your name electronically. Click 'Save'.
  • Review your selection and click the box next to 'I agree to terms of use'. Then, click 'Submit Order'. A confirmation email will be sent to the email address on your account.
Once I have selected an option, can I change my mind?
No, once you elect an option you are committed and cannot choose another option.

How is the credit calculated?
The credit is calculated using the value of the tickets for missed games. No credit will be due on handling charges or other fees paid in connection with a ticket.Your account will receive a credit in the applicable amount at the end of each month based on games missed within that month. You will not receive credit on the total amount of money in your account each month.

Example using the Loyalty Program option (3%):
Number of Season Tickets - 2
Price per seat, per game - $100

Should 8 games be missed in October you would receive:
$200 (price per game) x 8 (games missed) x .25% (1/12 of 3%) = $4 credit

Do I have to continue making payments?
Yes, you must continue making your season ticket payments. In order to receive the credit, your account must be in good standing and current with all payment plans. Should your account not be in good standing or not current with payment you will forfeit your ability to receive the credit. Once your account returns to good standing you will begin receiving the credit. Should your account become delinquent in payment at any point during the time when you are receiving credit you will stop receiving credit until your account becomes current.

How will I know how much interest I have accrued during the work stoppage?
Log in to Account Manager with your pin number or email address and password and follow the steps below:
  • Click 'View/Edit Setting' on the left
  • Click 'Manage My Personal Profile'
  • A screen will pop up with your account information and your accrued interest will be listed at the bottom.
When will I stop accruing credit?
You will receive credit until the last day of the month once the work stoppage concludes. Once the season resumes you will receive credit ONLY for the games missed within that applicable month.

Example: There are eight games in October, should we begin play in October and only miss three games in that month you would receive credit on your ticket money for only those three games missed. Should the entire 2012-13 season be lost, you will receive credit for all games missed until April 30, 2013.

Do I receive a credit if games initially missed are rescheduled in a compressed season?
No, the only credit you will receive is on games missed that are not rescheduled.

What happens to the credit accrued on my account when the work stoppage ends?
Credit accrued can be used towards the purchase of tickets for home games during the 2013 playoffs or your 2013-14 season ticket renewal. There will be no refunds on any credit earned.

If I choose Option #1...

Do I have to renew my tickets for the 2013-14 season?
Yes, you are committed to renewing your season tickets for the 2013-14 season. In electing this option you will also receive a price freeze for the 2013-14 season. Should you attempt to not renew during the annual renewal period, the Boston Bruins reserve the right to reduce the amount of credit earned equal to 1% APR (Option #2). You may also forfeit the right to purchase 2013 playoff tickets and/or season tickets in the future.

If I choose Option #2...

How will I receive my refund for the ticket amount?
The ticket amount will be refunded via the same manner in which you paid for your season tickets. Refunds will be processed within 10 business days of the last day of each month and will be based upon the number of games cancelled in the applicable month.

Would I be eligible for the price freeze if I renew my season tickets during the annual renewal period in February?
No, you must elect Option #1 (Loyalty Program) in order to guarantee a price freeze for the 2013-14 season.

If I elect not to renew can I receive a refund for my credit earned?
No, your credit must be used towards the 2013 playoffs or 2013-14 season ticket renewals.

What if games initially missed are rescheduled in a compressed season?
You will have a balance due on your account equal to the number of games rescheduled. Your same seats will be available to you but the balance must be paid prior to accessing your tickets.
