How can I apply?
Interested applicants should fill out the online questionnaire found on this page. Questionnaires may be submitted online, via standard mail or delivered, and must be received by 5:00 PM on September 3rd, 2009.
No. Most Ice Girls attend college and/or hold full-time or part-time jobs. However, being an Ice Girl is time consuming, and requires commitment and passion.
Do I need to have skating or dancing experience?
No. While it does help, the role of an Ice Girl involves more than skating or dancing. It includes duties both on and off the ice at Boston Bruins home games and in the community.
Is there an age requirement?
All participants MUST be 18 years of age or older and out of high school. There is no maximum age limit. Finalists will be asked for photo identification. Those without proper ID will not be eligible.
Are there any height and weight requirements?
There are no specific requirements; however the uniform demands a lean figure. Being physically fit and toned is part of the athletic image of the Boston Bruins Ice Girls.
When and where are the auditions?
The audition is by invite only. Finalists will be notified in early September and invited to a mandatory audition scheduled for Thursday, September 10th at 5:00 PM at the TD Garden.
If I am invited to audition, what are the evaluators looking for?
If you are selected as a finalist, further details will be provided at that time. There will be several different portions, including an interview and an athletic activity.
