Scouting Staff

Scott Fitzgerald is in his ninth season in the Bruins organization and his fourth as Assistant Director of Amateur Scouting. Based out of Boston, he scouts amateur prospects throughout North America and Europe who are eligible for the annual NHL Entry Draft. Fitzgerald came to the Bruins in 2006 following seven seasons as an area scout for the Columbus Blue Jackets. He joined Boston's scouting staff in 2006 and was promoted to his current position in 2010. He and his wife Stephanie have three children, Nolan, Riley and Shae.

Ryan Nadeau is in his 12th season with the Bruins organization, his ninth in the team's hockey operations department and first in the position of Director of Hockey Operations/Analytics. The Taunton, MA native utilizes statistical and numerical data and tools to supplement scouting efforts and evaluation while continuing to scout college prospects in the United States and other duties in support of the Hockey Operations department. A 1999 graduate of the University of Massachusetts-Amherst with a degree in Sport Management, he joined the Bruins in 2003 in the club's media relations department and moved into hockey operations in 2006 as Manager of Hockey Administration. After four seasons in that capacity, he was promoted to Director of Hockey Administration and added scouting at the collegiate level to his responsibilities. He was named to his current position on June 27, 2014. He and his wife Taryn have three children, daughter Finley and sons Kelton and Trevor.

P.J. Axelsson is in his second season with the Bruins organization. Based out of Sweden, he scouts amateur prospects in Europe. He played 797 NHL/Bruins games from 1997-2009 with 103-184=287 career totals. He then returned to Sweden, playing his final five seasons with Frolunda from 2009-13.

Mike Chiarelli is in his seventh season with the Bruins organization. He is based out of Ottawa and scouts amateur prospects in Ontario.

Adam Creighton is in his 14th season in the Bruins organization. He is a professional leagues scout based out of Ontario. He played 708 NHL games over 14 seasons with Buffalo, Chicago, NY Islanders, Tampa Bay and St. Louis.

Jukka Holtari is in his eighth season in the Bruins organization. Based in Finland, he scouts amateur prospects in Europe.

Denis LeBlanc is in his eighth season in the Bruins organization. He is an amateur prospects scout based in Quebec.

Dean Malkoc is in his eighth season in the Bruins organization. He scouts amateur prospects in Western Canada. He played four NHL seasons with Vancouver, Boston (73 games from 1996-97 to 1997-98) and NY Islanders.

Mike McGraw is in his 13th season in the Bruins organization. Based out of Minnesota, he scouts high school and college prospects in the Midwest U.S. as well as the United States Hockey League.

Tom McVie is in his 21st season in the Bruins organization, his 16th in a scouting capacity. Based out of Washington state, he scouts professional leagues on the West coast.

Blair Reid is in his first season in the Bruins organization. Based out of Alberta, he scouts amateur prospects in western Canada.

Keith Sullivan is in his second season in the Bruins organization. Based in Omaha, Nebraska, he scouts amateur prospects in the United States.

Svenake Svensson is in his 24th season in the Bruins organization. Based in Sweden, he scouts throughout Europe.
