Kim and Charlie Jacobs Recoginzed by March of DimesOn Friday, November 13, the March of Dimes honored Kim and Charlie Jacobs and the Boston Bruins Foundation with the 2009 Franklin Delano Roosevelt Humanitarian Award. This award is the March of Dimes most prestigious honor and is bestowed annually to the individual and organization making the greatest strides to improve the health of babies in Massachusetts.
"It is a tremendous honor to be receiving this year's Franklin Delano Roosevelt Humanitarian Award," said Charlie Jacobs. "On behalf of my wife Kim, The Bruins Foundation and the entire Bruins organization we thank the March of Dimes for recognizing our efforts on behalf of the children of Massachusetts and look forward to standing beside them as we all work to ensure every child gets the best start in life."
