Military Appreciation Night

The Boston Bruins will honor local military members, veterans and their families at "Military Appreciation Night" on Thursday, November 12 at 7:00 PM during the Bruins vs. Panthers game at the TD Garden.

In support of the armed forces, Bruins defenseman Mark Stuart has purchased $5,000 worth of tickets to the game that he will give to local military members and their families.

There are a variety of ways that you can get involved in this special night too, so take a look below.

Seats for Soldiers: Donate Tickets

The Seats for Soldiers program enables fans to purchase specially priced $50.50 Lower Level Seats that will be donated to the USO New England, and provided to members of the armed forces. For every seat purchased, the donor will be entered into a private drawing for the opportunity to purchase a pair of tickets to the 2010 Bridgestone/NHL Winter Classic*.

Ticket Options

1. If you would like to purchase tickets to be donated, click the link and follow the instructions below:

   • Click 'Add to Cart.' Select how many tickets you would like to purchase for donation
   • Please select 'Will Call as your delivery option and click 'Checkout'
   • Fill out your order information (name, billing address, credit card, etc.)
   • Check the box that indicates 'Shipping Address' is the same as 'Billing Address.'
   • After clicking 'Place Order,' you will see a page confirming all of your order information with confirmation number. Please note that your order has not been placed until you see this page with the 7-digit confirmation number.
   • Reminder: There is no limit to the number of tickets you can donate and you will get as many entries into the drawing as tickets you purchase for donation**


2. If you are a Season Ticket Holder and would like to donate your tickets to the 11/12 vs. FLA game, follow the instructions below.
   • Log into 'My Bruins Account'
   • Under 'Manage My tickets' click 'Donate Tickets to Charity'
   • Select the 11/12 vs. FLA game and check the box next to the seats you would like to donate
   • Click 'Forward'
   • Under 'Forwarding Method' select 'Donate Tickets To Charity' and click 'Continue'
   • Verify the game selection and seats and submit


3. If you are a member of the military and would like to receive tickets:
   • Contact USO New England at bruins@uso-newengland.org
   • Include the following information and you will be added to the waiting list for tickets:
     • Full name, branch of service, rank, pre/post-deployed status for reservists, and best contact number to reach you both day and evenings
     • Tickets will be assigned to eligible service members as they become available on a first-come first-serve basis.
     • USO New England will contact you via this contact number to notify you as tickets become available leading up to the date.

Sponsor a Care Package or Donate Goods

Prior to the game, the Boston Bruins and Operation Homefront New England will be hosting a collection drive to send care packages to members of the military serving overseas from the New England area.

Fans are encouraged to donate travel size personal care items (dental floss, shampoo, soap, deodorant, etc), entertainment items (playing cards, crosswords, pen/pencils, AA and C batteries, etc), or make a monetary donation to purchase a complete care package, including a card for you to personalize for $20.

Every fan that makes a donation will receive a raffle ticket for the opportunity to win Boston Bruins autographed merchandise.

** Ticket orders must be completed by November 11th at 5:00 PM or until inventory runs out. Seats are limited. The Bridgestone/NHL Winter Classic drawing will take place on November 12th. The winner will have access to purchase two tickets at $125 per ticket. An e-mail or phone call will be made to the winner no later than 5:00 PM on November 12th.
