Bruins Issue Update on Adam McQuaid
Bruins GM Peter Chiarelli issued an update on Adam McQuaid

PrintBoston, MA - Boston Bruins General Manager Peter Chiarelli issued the following update on March 20, on defenseman Adam McQuaid: "Adam sustained a shoulder strain and will return to Boston for further evaluation by the Bruins medical staff. It is anticipated that he may be out 3-4 weeks."

McQuaid has skated in 25 games this season and has registered one goal and three assists with 49 penalty minutes.
The Bruins return to action on Thursday, March 21 against the Senators in Ottawa with puck drop scheduled for 7:30 pm ET.
