PrintBostonBruins.com -- Shawn Thornton loves golf, so it's not surprising that he'll be at this weekend's Deutsche Bank Championship.

But this afternoon, hockey and golf fans alike can also find the Bruins bruiser on the PGA Tour's Official Twitter feed, too.
The "Merlot" line forward will take over @PGATour during the opening round of one of New England's top golf events and give fans his view of what is going on inside the ropes at TPC Boston.
Thornton will follow a group that includes his friend Keegan Bradley, Matt Kuchar & Hunter Mahan during the first round of the event, which is being held this weekend in Norton, Massachusetts (August 29 - September 3).
Yesterday, Shawn participated in the event's Pro-Am and will return to the fairways to give fans his insight from around the prestigious local course.
The Boston Bruins official twitter account @NHLBruins will also retweet some of Shawn's work, so make sure to watch both feeds this afternoon.
