Shawn Thornton & B's Foundation Charity Golf Tournament Today
PrintBOSTON, MA – Shawn Thornton and the Boston Bruins Foundation will host the third annual “Putts and Punches for Parkinson’s” golf tournament today, August 6, at the Ferncroft Country Club in Middleton, MA. Thornton, forward Daniel Paille and goaltender Tuukka Rask will be among the Bruins players and staff participating in the event.
Thornton, Paille and Rask will be speak to the media prior to the shotgun start at 1:30 p.m.
Those set to play in the tournament will enjoy 18 holes of golf followed by dinner and cocktails with fan favorite Thornton and will have the chance to win one-of-a-kind sports memorabilia, raffle and silent auction items. All of the proceeds from the golf tournament will benefit the Boston Bruins Foundation and the American Parkinson Disease Association.
