Game 7 Start Time Set for 7:30 P.M.
BOSTON, MA – The National Hockey League today announced that the starting time for Game 7 of the Boston Bruins-Washington Capitals Stanley Cup Playoff Conference Quarter-Final series has been set for 7:30 p.m. ET on Wednesday, April 25, in Boston. The game will be televised by NBC Sports Network in the U.S.; NESN in the Boston market; CSN in the Washington DC market; and CBC and RDS in Canada.
The Bruins will be facing their fifth Game 7 in their last six playoff series, as they dropped a 4-3 decision to Philadelphia to end their 2010 CSF series and then became the first team in NHL history to win three Game 7s in one playoff year with a 4-3 overtime win vs. Montreal in the 2011 CQF, a 1-0 victory over Tampa Bay in the 2011 Conference Final and a 4-0 win in Vancouver in the 2011 Stanley Cup Final.
The Bruins are 12-10 in 22 lifetime Game 7s, while the Capitals have played nine in their history with a 2-7 record in those games.
The Bruins will practice at Ristuccia Arena on Tuesday, April 24 at 11:00 a.m.
