Bruins Recall Caron from Providence

BOSTON, MA – Boston Bruins General Manager Peter Chiarelli announced today that the club has recalled forward Jordan Caron from the Providence Bruins (American Hockey League). Caron is expected to join the Bruins on Thursday, January 12th for the team’s morning skate.Caron has skated in 13 games for Boston so far this season, tallying one goal and two assists. He has appeared in 12 games for the P-Bruins this season, with 2-7=9 totals.
Caron was drafted by the Bruins in the first round (25th overall) of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft. In the 2010-2011 season, Caron played in 23 games for the Boston Bruins with 3 goals and 4 assists. In the 2010-2011 season with the Providence Bruins, Caron appeared in 47 games with 12 goals and 16 assists, giving him 28 points on the season.
