Campbell to Donate 400 Pies to Local Charitable Organizations
BOSTON, MA – On Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 24, Bruins forward Gregory Campbell will personally deliver $2,000 worth of pies to various shelters and charitable organizations throughout Boston. Campbell purchased the 400 pies himself from Mike’s Pastry in Boston’s North End. He will make the deliveries to the Yawkey Family Inn, the Home for Little Wanderers, St. Francis House and the Pine Street Inn.

The Bruins organization will deliver the remainder of the pies to the following charitable groups: the New England Center for Homeless Veterans, Boston Rescue Mission, Haley House, Boston Family Shelter, Temporary Home for Women and Children, Rosie's Place, Bridge Over Troubled Waters, Patrick Thompson House at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Women’s Lunch Place, Horizons for Homeless Children, Salvation Army Cambridge, and Barbara McInnis House.

The 2011-2012 Boston Bruins season is presented by the Massachusetts State Lottery.
