BOSTON, MA - Boston Bruins General Manager Peter Chiarelli announced today that the club has assigned forward Jordan Caron to the Providence Bruins (American Hockey League).

The 20-year-old made his NHL debut in the club’s second game of the season (vs. PHX on October 10) and has skated in 20 games for Boston, recording three goals and four assists. He was a healthy scratch for the last two games.
He played four seasons of junior hockey in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League with Rimouski and Rouyn-Noranda with 100-103=203 totals in 204 career games.
The Sayabec, Quebec native was selected by Boston in the first round (25th overall) of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft.
