B\'s Expect Buffalo\'s Best
BUFFALO -- Before leaving for Western New York, Boston Head Coach Claude Julien reminisced about the Bruins 2010 first round Stanley Cup Playoff victory over the Buffalo Sabres.

"I don’t think it was an easy series by all means," said Julien. "We always have some tough games against them. There’s a certain style that they play [that] makes it...pretty close games and it’s gone back and forth for the most part.

"I think a couple years ago when we really had success, we really struggled against them, and last year, they were having success, and we got the better of them.

"It’s been one of those things that have gone back and forth," said Julien.

The story in Buffalo starts with 2010's Vezina Trophy-winner, Ryan Miller -- a goalie who can win games single-handedly and almost stole a gold medal for the United States in this year's Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver.

"They’ve got a great goaltender and when they’re healthy, they’re a team that on the attack is very dangerous," said Julien. "They really collapse and smother you in their D-zone, so it’s never an easy game against them."

Despite the Sabres slow start, Julien doesn't see any kind of cake walk coming up in HSBC Arena on Wednesday.

"Yeah, it’s going to be a good challenge because, first of all, we’re going to Buffalo. That’s never an easy building to play in," said Julien. "I don’t care what they’re going through right now, they always play us hard."
