Good morning True Believers!

I have meetings today (yay!?), so bear with me as I work to get some more info on the B's draft.

In the meantime, check out the Entry Draft website at http://www.nhl.com/futures/2008 for everything draft-related.

Ok. That should hold you for awhile. I'll have more, later...

1:58 p.m.
Ok folks, I am still in a big ol' meeting in Ottawa. Interesting stuff, but not much to report here.

However, the good people at NHL.com are churning out tons of content.

2:59 p.m.
I've escaped. Thank goodness.

And, after getting lost walking home (there is a canal right through the middle of town, dontcha' know) I am safe and sound in my hotel room.

On my way in I saw a huge press scrum with the Ottawa Senators GM Bryan Murray in a hotel lobby, so things are heating up.

Buuuuuuuuut, and I can confirm this because I was in a meeting with all the PR directors from around the league, nothing too big has happened -- nobody bolted the meeting, cell phone in hand, etc.

So, stay tuned.

Word from Matt Chmura, the Boston Bruins Director of Communications, is that Marco Sturm keeps texting him about Germany being up 3-1 over Portugal in the Euro2008.

Don't miss Jack's chat.
NESN.com, Friday at 1 p.m.
6:43 p.m.
Our cousins over at NESN.com have Jack Edwards chatting from the NHL draft in Ottawa on Friday, June 20, at 1 p.m.

Jack is a wealth of knowledge, hockey-wise. And, knowing Mr. Edwards as I do, I am sure he will come to the table with some real opinions as to what the B's should do tomorrow night. And he might even tell you a hockey story or two if you ask nicely.

As that will be a slow period between the early morning GM press scrums and the big party later that evening, I would be sure to log in to check out the chat and fill in the gap.

BTW:  NESN's last chat was with GM Peter Chiarelli.
