Training Camp, Day Six: Practice makes perfect...
John Bishop is the beat writer for BostonBruins.com. He covers the Black & Gold hoping to offer a positive look at the team, not only from the stands and the press box, but also from inside the locker room. A graduate of Boston U. and Northeastern, 'Bish' grew up in Connecticut and moved to the Hub of Hockey in 1993. Since then he has made all four rinks at the Beanpot schools, as well as both Gardens, his icebound homes away from home. Prior to joining the TD Banknorth Garden staff in 2005, Bishop had written for several publications, with his primary focus being college hockey. He coauthored the book Bygone Boston in 2003 and hopes someday to pen a bio of Hobey Baker.
I am still waiting on coffee number two...so bear with me.

With the second squad preparing for their session, I was able to catch up with Mark Stuart after the first. Hang on for that interview.

11:33 a.m.
Group B is on the ice and beginning their sesssion:
Brick: Reich-Thompson-Trevelyan

Gold: Bochenski-Bergeron-Sturm
Red: Pelletier-Mowers-DiCasmirro
Black (D-men): Allen, Alberts, Ward, Sigalet, Curry

Just like the first group, it looks as if they are working on offensive breakouts, etc. If the pattern holds, they will do some penalty kill and power play work.

This time I talked to defenseman Andrew Alberts.

By the way, according to Bruins Head Coach Claude Julien, Team A (from this morning, whose lines are listed above) will be the squad that travels to St. John's tomorrow.

Savvy, Z and me, on The Rock!

5:33 p.m. Just updated the front page with roster news. I am sure we will see some of those guys back in Boston in the not-too-distant future.

And I also updated my Bear Essentials from yesterday with some Podcasts. Click here to revisit Saturday's scrimmage and hear Adam McQuaid, Phil Kessel and GM Peter Chiarelli.

Ok, off to write some other stuff. I hope that I run into some of you in Newfoundland!
