Ray Bourque

BOSTON, MA - The Boston Bruins Foundation announced today that it has formed a partnership with Charity Wines in an effort to raise money through the sale of wines featuring the likeness of Bruins legends Ray Bourque and Cam Neely.  The wine will be sold under the label “Hat Trick Vineyards”.

The proceeds raised will benefit the Boston Bruins Foundation, which has also agreed to donate a portion of the proceeds to The Cam Neely Foundation for Cancer Care and Ray Bourque’s Celebrities for Charity.

“This is a great opportunity for the Bruins Foundation to be able to assist The Cam Neely Foundation for Cancer Care and Celebrities for Charity,” said Boston Bruins Foundation Director of Development Bob Sweeney. “The Foundation was happy to bring the parties together in order to make this happen.”

Bourque Merlot and CamBernet charity wines are being produced by award-winning wine maker Susie Selby out of Selby Winery in California.  Selby has had great success with a line of wines bearing the likeness of Boston Red Sox players.

"We're excited to be working with Ray, Cam, and the Bruins Foundation on this new project," said Andrew Graff, Charity Wines owner and president. “After seeing how receptive Boston fans were to the Red Sox wines, we wanted to give them another opportunity to support the charitable work of their local sports heroes.”

The wine will be available to the public in local liquor stores, bars and hotels in November - in time for holiday gift giving.
