Boston Bruins 2007-08 Schedule Released
BOSTON, MA - Today the National Hockey League released the Boston Bruins 2007-08 schedule.

The Bruins, who enter their 83rd NHL season, open the campaign with a five-game road trip beginning on Friday, October 5, 2007, in Dallas, Texas against the Stars.

Boston will then return home to the TD Banknorth Garden on Thursday, October 18, when they host the Tampa Bay Lightning at 7:00 p.m. ET in the club's home opener.

The Bruins 2007-2008 docket will be an 82-game unbalanced schedule that pits the Bruins against each of their Northeast Division rivals (Buffalo, Montreal, Ottawa and Toronto) eight times (four each home and away) and each of the other Eastern Conference teams (Atlantic and Southeast Divisions) four times each (two home, two away).

Boston will play their remaining ten games against Western Conference opponents from the Central Division (each team once at home) and the Pacific Division (each team once on the road). The Bruins will not face Northwest Division teams this season.

Information on the Bruins preseason schedule is forthcoming.
