Boston Bruins Relieve Gorton and Dore of Duties
BOSTON - Boston Bruins General Manager Peter Chiarelli announced today that the club has relieved Jeff Gorton (right) and Daniel Dore of their duties.

Gorton, who served as the team's Assistant General Manager for seven seasons, had been with the Bruins organization since 1992.  He served as the team's Interim General Manager from March 27, 2006 - July 8, 2006.

Dore, a scout focusing on amateur players in North America and Europe, had spent 11 years with the club.
