Bruins and Bochenski Agree to Contract Extension

Bochenski was acquired by the Bruins on February 3, 2007 from the Chicago Blackhawks in exchange for Kris Versteeg and a conditional draft pick. After joining the Bruins, Bochenski appeared in 31 games, tallying 11 goals and 11 assists.
Originally selected by Ottawa in the seventh round (233rd overall) of the 2001 NHL Entry Draft, Bochenski played one season with the Senators before being traded to Chicago.
Bochenski, who made his NHL debut on October 5, 2005, has played in 81 career regular season games and has tallied 21 goals and 20 assists in NHL action.
