Ference will play…

Notes from the morning skate:
Lest anyone think that the Boston Bruins are preparing to go through the motions against the Habs this evening, previously injured defenseman Andrew Ference (right), who missed the last game with an arm contusion, will play tonight against the Canadiens. No word on which defenseman will sit.
As reported earlier, the very eager and certainly excited Hannu Toivonen, will start with Tim Thomas being the back up. Joey MacDonald will be the healthy scratch.
The Montreal contingent of the B’s also reports that big ’D’ Zdeno Chara broke a pane of the Bell Centre’s seamless glass with the Leagues’ fastest slapper at the morning skate.
On the other side of the ice, Montreal’s Team990 is reporting that Habs goalie Christobal Huet will dress as Jaroslav Halak’s backup this evening. He has been out with a hamstring injury since February. Just in case: In his career versus the B’s, Huet is 5-2-0 with a 2.04 GAA and a .938 SV%. His NHL totals are 51-46-11-7, with a 2.45 goals-against and a .918 percentage.
The Bell Centre is sure to be even louder tonight, as it is Montreal’s version of Fan Appreciation Night, and the Hab’s last home game of the regular season.
Can’t wait for the game!
