Everybody lost: Phew!
I have good news and bad news.

As you know, the Bruins dropped another tough game last night. But the "good" news is this -- almost everyone else did, too.

So the B’s are still only four points out:

Montreal 2,
Atlanta 6, Final.

Toronto 1,
Ottawa 5, Final.

Here is bad news. Everyone lost except for Florida and the Rangers:

Florida 2,
Philly 1, Final.

NY Rangers 2,
NY Islanders 1, Final.

As such the race for eight, as of this morning, looks like this:

#. Team, GP, Pts
7. Islanders, 67, 76
8. Rangers, 67, 73
9. Carolina, 68, 73
10. Toronto, 68, 73
11. Montreal, 69, 72
12. Boston, 67, 69
13. Florida, 68, 69

Like my friend George said, "It’s no joke." This stuff will give you heartburn, for sure.

As far as our beloved Boston Bruins go, it is getting down to brass tacks, and Our Boys need to fly into Philadelphia and Detroit with a serious chip on their shoulders.

"I am going to use a Winston Churchill phrase," said a frustrated Dave Lewis after last night’s game. "Never surrender."

"That is how we have to play and that is what I told the guys at the end of the game."

Never surrender, folks!
