Boston Bruins Assign Jeremy Reich to Providence (AHL)
Boston -- Boston Bruins General Manager Peter Chiarelli announced today that the club has assigned left-winger Jeremy Reich to the Providence Bruins of the American Hockey League (AHL).

Reich, who was signed by the Bruins as a free agent on August 30, 2005, was recalled by Boston yesterday and played in the club’s 4-3 overtime win over the Carolina Hurricanes last night in Raleigh, NC. This season Reich has played 45 games, and tallied four goals and seven assists for the Providence Bruins.

Reich, 27, from Craik Saskatchewan, was drafted by the Chicago Blackhawks in the second round (39th overall) in the 1997 NHL Entry Draft. He signed with Columbus as a free agent on May 17, 2000 and saw his only NHL action when he played nine games for the Blue Jackets during the 2003-2004 season. During that stretch in the NHL, Reich had one assist.

The Black and Gold return to action on Tuesday night when the club travels to Washington, DC to take on the Capitols at 7:00 p.m. ET.

The Bruins return to the TD Banknorth Garden on Thursday night when they host the Hurricanes at 7:00 p.m. ET. This Thursday, as every Thursday night game, is a Student Night. All high school and college students are eligible for one half-price ticket in the $45.50 and $55.00 price range with a valid student ID.

Tickets are available for all home games online by clicking here, at the TD Banknorth Garden Box Office, all Ticketmaster outlets, or by phone at 617.624.BEAR.
