Chara Scores Twice

Despite two goals by Bruins captain Zdeno Chara, the West All-Stars held on to defeat the East All-Stars, 12-9, in the NHL All-Star Game on Wednesday night.

Chara, the lone Boston participant in the game, left his defensive position several times in order to join in the offensive clinic occurring in front of a big crowd at American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas.

It was a goalie’s nightmare as 21 pucks found themselves in the nets during the festivities.

Buffalo’s Daniel Briere was named the MVP of the game.

By the way, today there was a pretty nice article on NHL.com about Chara. Click here to take a look.

It was a nice break, but it’s back to work tomorrow...Go B’s!
