Tonight’s Game
The Bruins visit the Panthers tonight in the first of four games between these teams this season and the first of two games of this season’s series at BankAtlantic Center. The Bruins are playing their first game of the season tonight and are opening the season on the road for just the third time in the last 31 seasons. The Bruins are 34-31-16 overall in season-opening games and are 6-18-5-0 when those openers have occurred on the road. The Panthers are also opening their 2006-07 season tonight.
