Bruins sign T.J. Trevelyan to a multi-year contract

The Boston Bruins have signed left wing T.J. Trevelyan to a multi-year contract, it was announced today by Bruins General Manager Peter Chiarelli. Trevelyan was an unrestricted free agent.

Trevelyan, 22, has played the last four seasons of college hockey at St. Lawrence University with 78 goals and 76 assists for 154 points and 204 penalty minutes in 150 career college games.

The 5’10”, 170 lb. native of Mississauga, Ontario enjoyed an outstanding senior season in 2005-06, leading the ECACHL in scoring as only the second Saint in team history to do so with 20-28=48 totals. A two-time ECACHL First Team All-Star, he was named a First Team All-American in 2005-06 while earning ECACHL Player of the Year honors and was one of ten finalists for the Hobey Baker Award as the nation’s top college player.
