Each Bruins player or alumni was paired with a foursome and the groups competed for great Bruins and Yankee Fleet prizes.
The grand prize team, captained by Don Sweeney, caught a combined weight of haddock and cod equaling over seventy-two pounds.
Throughout the day, there were prizes awarded for the smallest, largest and ugliest fish caught as well. The evening ended with a barbeque reception at Cape Ann's Marina Resort in Gloucester.
During the reception, Bob Sweeney conducted a live auction, which offered fans the opportunity to sit in the alumni box with Bruins alum at an upcoming Boston Bruins home game. All net proceeds raised at the Boston Bruins Skate and Bait Fishing Tournament benefited the Boston Bruins Bike Team participating in this year's Pan-Mass Challenge.
