Boston pick Phil Kessel joins us now. Kessel was taken fifth overall by the Bruins.
puckhaseyes:
What position do you think you would best fit you on Boston?
Phil Kessel:
I can play both wing and center, so it doesn't matter. Wherever they want me to play is fine with me.
canucker_7:
Hey Phil, congrats, what do you like best about the Bruins club?
Phil Kessel:
I'm happy because it's a club that's been around a long time. They are a classy organization with a lot of pride and tradition. Hopefully one day I'll help them get the Stanley Cup again.
fs2002rulz:
Hey Phil, congratulations on being drafted 5th overall. Which player are you looking forward most to playing with?
Phil Kessel:
Patrice Bergeron. I've played against him and he's an unbelievable talent.
brendanlarosa6:
Phil, now that you have been drafted 5th overall are you going to play with a chip on your shoulder because four teams passed on you?
Phil Kessel:
Not a chip. I'm going to show them it was a bad decision to pass me up and that Boston got a great pick.
sp00ner:
What was your favorite team when you were a child?
Phil Kessel:
I didn't have one and just enjoyed watching/playing hockey. To be a Bruin now is very rewarding.
fleury29:
Who was your idol as a child?
Phil Kessel:
You idol all the greats: Joe Sakic, Peter Forsberg, Mike Modano. I've always liked the game's greats and it will be a thrill to play guys of that caliber.
Moderator:
Thanks Phil for stopping by.
