I understand that pedestrians have the right of way in a crosswalk, but I don’t understand the pedestrians that think they have the right of way in a crosswalk when the cars have a green light. Explain to me what a person is thinking when they come to a corner and the cars are stopped, yet when the light turns green they decide to walk? I don’t get it. Just plan ahead a little.
Unless George is your favorite and you really love Frogger. I myself loved Galaga, Centepede and the occasional Joust. Good old-fashioned pinball was great too. But I am not sure if I ever brought any of these skills to the real world. Pole Position might have helped me fool the DMV, but I certainly can’t drive down Storrow and spin my wheel at the big left turn. And I am definitely not like Mario or Luigi trying to eat mushrooms so I can get supersized to fight a gorilla. That would just be stupid. Everyone knows that the only thing that will help you beat up a gorilla comes from BALCO, not from a mushroom. I don’t care how magical it is! My skills from Punch-Out never transferred. Anyone who has seen me fight knows that! (I expect some great emails from Buffalo).
Who knows, maybe Frogger just really inspires people to go for it. Maybe we all should have played a little more of that and a lot less Pac-Man.
