Bruins re-assign six players from training camp

Bruins General Manager Mike O’Connell announced today that the Bruins have assigned five players from Boston’s training camp to the team’s American Hockey League affiliate in Providence and returned one player to his junior team. There are 29 players remaining in Boston’s training camp.
Assigned to Providence (AHL) were forwards Garret Stroshein, Eric Nickulas, Nathan Robinson, Jason MacDonald and Jeremy Reich.
Right wing Petr Kalus was returned to his junior team in Regina (WHL).
The Boston Bruins continue their pre-season schedule this weekend, hosting the New York Islanders on Friday, September 23 at the TD Banknorth Garden (7:00 p.m.); vs. the New York Islanders on Saturday, September 24 at the Verizon Wireless Center in Manchester NH (7:30 p.m.; WBZ Radio) and at the New York Rangers on Sunday, September 25 (5:00 p.m.; WBZ Radio).
