Bruins re-assign 13 players from training camp
Bruins General Manager Mike O’Connell announced today that the Bruins have re-assigned 13 players from training camp. Four players were assigned to Boston’s American Hockey League affiliate in Providence, six players were returned to their junior teams and three players were released from camp.

Assigned to Providence (AHL) were goaltenders Mike Ayers and Mike Brown, and left wings Cody McLeod and Peter Zingoni. The Providence Bruins will open their training camp on Monday, September 19.

Returned to their junior teams were left wing Anton Hedman (Sudbury/OHL), center David Krejci (Gatineau/QMJHL), center Wacey Rabbit (Saskatoon/WHL), right wing Ashton Rome (Red Deer/WHL), left wing Lukas Vantuch (Swift Current/WHL) and right wing Kris Versteeg (Lethbridge/WHL).

Defensemen Michal Korenko, Guillaume Lepine and Frank Rediker were in camp on try-out agreements and were released from camp.
