BOSTON, MA - The Boston Bruins announced today the final list of 55 players who will be taking part in the Boston Bruins Training Camp.  Included in that 55 is newcomer Glen Metropolit, who joined the Bruins on Thursday on a professional tryout.  

Metropolit split last season between the Atlanta Thrashers and St. Louis Blues and totaled 14 goals and 19 assists in 77 games.  The 33-year-old center was originally signed as a free agent by the Washington Capitals on July 19, 1999.  In 180 career games in the NHL, Metropolit has tallied 24 goals and 56 assists.

For the first time in the ’07 camp, the entire Bruins roster will be on the ice at the TD Banknorth Garden on Friday, as up until this point, veteran ice time has been optional.  On Friday, Group A will be on the ice from 9:30-11:15 AM and Group B will follow at approximately 11:30-1:15.  Group C - which is comprised of all rookies - will skate from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM.  The schedule for the rest of the weekend is below, highlighted by a Rookie scrimmage with the New Jersey Devils on Sunday, September 16.  

Bruins Head Coach Claude Julien will be available to the media following Group B’s skate on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
