• In the 2011 playoffs, he led all rookies in scoring with 20 points (9-11--20) in 18 playoff games – Windsor lost to the eventual OHL champions, Owen Sound, in the third round.
• Kohklachev finished with 34 goals, including 12 on the power play, 76 points and a plus-nine rating in 67 regular-season games with the Spitfires in 2010-11, his first season in the Ontario Hockey League. His 76 points (34-42--76) ranked third among OHL rookies.
• He credits his parents for having the biggest influence on his career “because my dad was a hockey player and I look up to my dad. And my parents both encourage and support me”.
• The one thing people don’t know about him is that he hates snakes and if he could be in any band or music group it would be the Beatles.
